  INTRODUCTION

It includes discussions of the nature and practice of scientific research, laboratory safety, advising and career resources for biologists. 

  OBJECTIVE

  • To impart basic knowledge and understanding of the basic priniciples of science.
  • To prepare students for undertaking higher education and research as a career.
  • To prepare students for various employments available in industries.

  CONTENT

I Year: Foundation (Compulsory) Courses:
The Foundation courses are compulsory for all the students in First year of the study and the marks obtained in these papers are not added for counting the division in the B.Sc. examination. However, a student has to qualify these papers by obtaining minimum 35% marks. Students will have to choose any one subject from General English or General Hindi.
