Can I change my course after enrollment?

No once enrollment no is generated you can't change the course.

Can I cancel my course after enrollment?

No there is no option of cancellation.

What is the difference between online learning and correspondence  mode?

Correspondence Mode of Learning: -

In Correspondence mode only Student Study Material (SSM) are provided and the examination is to be written at the nearest center. Online/Offline classes can be offer by paying additional charges.

Online Mode of Learning: -

In Online Learning mode we provide E-Books with Online/ Offline classes .

What kind of study material is given?

Study material in form of printed “Self Study Material (SSM)” provides exhaustive content of particular Subject of specific programme.

What materials does Amity give in correspondence?

In correspondence Amity provide “Student Study Material” (SSM) prepared by Faculty.

What is an Assignment?

Assignments are important components of a learning programme. It is a self-learning procedure. Assignments are based on entire curriculum

What is the benefit of doing Assignments?

Assignment is a part of the curriculum. It carries a weightage of 30%

Do I have to attend regular classes?

No. There are no regular classes for the correspondence students. However a student wish to have weekend classes, he/ she can avail at the nearest study centres by paying extra fees. It depends upon the batches available.

When do I get the Study Materials?

You can get the study materials within 15 days from the deposit of fees.

When are examinations held?

The examination are conducted twice in a year, i.e. in the month of June and December.

Where do I need to go for examinations?

You can give your exams at your nearest centre given by university.

What is the criteria for passing a subject?

You need to score 30% marks in external (examination) and 30% in internal (Assignment) for passing a subject. A cumulative of 40% marks to be secured by the student.

Will I be promoted to the next semester if I fail in previous semester?

Yes. You can enroll yourself for the next semester even if you have failed in the previous semester. You can reappear in the failed exam during supplementary exams conducted in Feb & Aug. The programme has to be completed within the prescribed period.

Is the fee Refundable?

No, Fee once paid is not refundable as per rules of University.
